Liar’s Moon, a Dell Candlelight Ecstasy Supreme by Heather Graham is an overwrought foray into romantic suspense. There’s intrigue, murder, and a long-ago love affair between a teenage girl and a much older, close family friend. Events lead to a dramatic and happy conclusion in this so-so-category romance.
A Love to Last Forever by Linda Randall Wisdom is a fine romance between two former high school classmates, Stacy McAllister and Clarence “Mike” Harper. 3.5 Stars
Man in Control by Alice Morgan features a unique heroine, an avaricious young woman who openly acknowledges that she’s looking to settle down with a man, not for love but money. 3 stars
Halfway to Paradise by Emily Bradshaw wasn’t the worst book ever, but it was exceptionally dull. Only the stunning Elaine Duillo artwork for the cover saves this book from the garbage pile. 1.5 Stars

In Diane Dunaway’s sheik romance, Desert Hostage, Karim kidnaps Juliette after he finds out she’s his enemy’s daughter. The swoon-worthy hero makes the book a keeper.
Elaine Coffman’s Escape Not My Love is a fantastic old school romance with a dominant hero and spunky, defiant heroine. This western historical is set in Mexico & Texas.
