About Jacqueline Diaz

Old-School, retro, and vintage romance reads are my jam, baby! The good, the bad, the cheesy, and the sleazy! I have no shame about it; I love ’em! An auto-didact, amateur historian, and reader of romance novels since 1990, I hope to offer a unique perspective on the genre. As a blogger, you may know me by several names; here, I’m Jacqueline Diaz. I’m also the aspiring author of two works-in-progress, historical romances, The Savage Noble and What She Says with Her Eyes, which hopefully will be released in 2023.

      Dear Romance4real,

We’re having some difficulties with the comments (at least I am) so apologies for not responding sooner. I had replied, but my message was deleted when I ran a site clean up. Thank you for the site, I’ll add it to the links page. I could have made a list of 50 vintage authors to read but wanted to make a quick post. I think I’ll revisit this topic in a few weeks. I Sally Wentworth and Carole Mortimer and others listed as well, although I don’t think I’ve read Susan Fox. Miranda Lee & Emma Darcy (sisters) are among other favorites.
