I enjoy playing the game of “I Spy” with my vintage book romance covers. Can you guess this week’s theme? Spot the common thread in the covers, and the first one to mention the correct answer in the comments wins the satisfaction that they were right! 🙂
For the week of Aug 2 to Aug 6, here are some contemporary and historical covers for you to look over and play “I Spy.”

HI, Jacqueline.
I spy with my little eyes…four different types of transportation.
Anne Mather’s “Witchstone”: a high-end sports car.
Sheila Holland’s “Shadows at Dawn”: a horse-drawn carriage.
Janet Dailey’s “Difficult Decision”: an airplane.
Catherine Coulter’s “Devil’s Embrace”-a ship.
I appreciate the covers this week, Jacqueline. It bought a smile to my face.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner! (I never understood what that meant, but I like saying it!) Glad you had fun here. 🙂
Silly me, I meant for this to post at 9:30 pm, not am. Guess that’s what I get for sticking to the 12 hour clock instead of going on military time!
Thanks, Jacqueline. I was going to say transportation. But Blue Falcon beat me to it!
Anyhow, nice pics!
You got it! Alas, there’s no consilation prize, except for the satisfaction of being right! 😉
