Walter Popp was an incredibly talented artist and commercial illustrator. Popp was part of the cohort of pulp genre masters who subsequently designed covers for Gothic, Regency, and historical romances, including bodice rippers and epic novels.
He exhibited remarkable productivity for Zebra and Warner Books.
During the latter phase of his professional journey, Popp joined forces with his spouse Marie to create exceptionally beautiful romantic covers that evoke sensations of happiness and ardor.
