Thank You For All Your Support

It’s been a full six months that Sweet Savage Flame has been up and running. We started in early Spring, and now it’s Autumn, my favorite season! We’ve grown from a tiny website to a semi-respectable niche romance blog that has amassed over 18,000 views in that time. Thank you to our readers for being with us, for commenting, and for spreading the word about us!

Thank you to our beautiful bloggers, Mary Anne Landers, and Blue Falcon, for without their help, I would be tearing my hair out, doing this alone. Their reviews, posts, and thoughtful discussions have been a considerable part of this site’s growth.

And I also thank our friends on Facebook and Twitter who share this site with others and just love talking romance!

While we’re still a small blog, we’re showing up on Google searches and ranking on lists.

On Feedspot‘s Top 100 Romance Book Blogs and Websites To Follow in 2021 list, we’re ranked at #25!

Feedspot is a blog aggregator. According to their site, you can read your favorite blogs, podcasts, news websites, Youtube channels, and RSS feeds from one place on Feedspot. I write this without any compensation and can honestly say that if you’re looking for a great blog/website feeder, why not look into them?

Also, as always, I would love to hear some feedback from you about Sweet Savage Flame. What can we do to make this site more of an enjoyable experience?

Jacqueline Diaz, Writer

I started this site, in part to get my name out a bit, before I published my first book. As I soon found out, running a blog is a part-time job and writing/editing/formatting/ publishing & marketing a book is a full-time one. Plus, we have a small home business to run, and life gets in the way of plans. I finished the first draft of my book, and now am in the editing process. This has taken more time for me than I initially planned, and hope to be finished and ready to release within 8-10 weeks. I will be providing more updates, and perhaps include another excerpt on my Jacqueline Diaz Romance site.

Used Book Store

There’s a STORE attached to this blog. I’m reducing my vast paperback and hardcover library by selling used books. I have many books to sell from multiple genres, including romance, science fiction, children’s books, and non-fiction. There are few doubles, so it’s first-come, first-serve if you find something you’d like to purchase from my vintage-and-not-so-vintage collection.

The conditions of the books range from excellent to acceptable for reading, and they are priced to sell. Shipping and handling is a default flat rate of $4 for Media Mail ($9 in some cases where the books are more valuable) anywhere in the US for up to 10 books. If you wish for a faster method or to ship elsewhere, please send inquiries for the cost.

Financial Support for our Vintage Romance Book Blog

Donations are welcome to keep Sweet Savage Flame and to run it. I don’t benefit financially from this site as any ads or sponsored links you see are just to cover the costs of running the site.

You can support our site at Patreon. We have established tiers, which are being tweaked to best benefit your interests.

About Jacqueline Diaz

Old-School, retro, and vintage romance reads are my jam, baby! The good, the bad, the cheesy, and the sleazy! I have no shame about it; I love ’em! An auto-didact, amateur historian, and reader of romance novels since 1990, I hope to offer a unique perspective on the genre. As a blogger, you may know me by several names; here, I’m Jacqueline Diaz. I’m also the aspiring author of two works-in-progress, historical romances, The Savage Noble and What She Says with Her Eyes, which hopefully will be released in 2023.
